DIY: 4th of July Wreath

Been a long time since I've been on the blog, and since I am now on summer break it is time to get some crafting projects going. As you can probably tell by now, I love to make wreaths. Its an easy project, not too much money, and adds a nice touch to your front door for any season. As I add to my collection, I decided this year it was time for a 4th of July Wreath.

First thing I always do is look to Pinterest for inspiration. I loved these fun wreaths:

After looking around, I decided to take direction from all of these, but make them a little more my style. So first I hit up Hobby Lobby for the supplies. I always buy extra with the intention of returning things. In the past I didn't, and I ran out of a certain kind of flowers and they were out at Hobby Lobby.

The next step is to just arrange and stick through the flowers how you want them to look and use the floral wire and clippers to keep things in place.

The last step is to add some flags to make it scream America and top it off with a bow. Happy wreath making! :)
